At Mason Farming we grow organic radishes in two different sizes (micro and baby) and in four different varieties: French breakfast, watermelon, white icicle and Easter egg.
Radishes are well known for their medicinal value. Every part of the radish is useful for medicinal purposes including the pods, flowers and seeds. They contain the following: fibre, vitamin C, folate, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, copper, calcium, manganese and B Vitamins.
They are juicy and have high levels of water. They are beneficial in relieving constipation, improving your digestion, hydrating your body, lowering blood pressure, improving your immune system, treating Jaundice (leaves are an effective treatment), treating respiratory problems (especially with Covid-19), preventing piles and urinary disorders and so much more.
Radishes can be eaten raw, cooked or pickled.
